August 2024 Report from John Helge 2nd CD Committee Vice-Chairperson

​ I have been working to find yard signs and larger 4x8 signs for the Biden/Harris campaign. It has been very disheartening to see so many signs up for the MAGA Cult leader in our District. I simply do not understand why we are not able to get these signs distributed to all our county party organizations in a timely manner. It is now understandable that the Harris campaign is waiting to name the VP candidate before mass printing and distributing signs. I hope we can count on the Democratic Party organization to get those new signs out ASAP! MAGA Moolenaar has continued to spread the misinformation, lies that fuel division, hate, and fear. He has been somewhat quiet since the change at the top of our ticket, but when he does post something on email or social media it is simply following the MAGA Cult playbook. I have cast my official Democrat National Convention delegate ballot for Kamala Harris and I am excited to be representing the 2nd Congressional District in Chicago for the convention.
