Following up on the announcement of the MDSCC's next meeting on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Lansing, we would like to draw your attention to the below press release announcing the beginning of the MDP's Delegate Selection Plan public comment period. 

You can find the draft Delegate Selection Plan on the MDP website and linked in the release below. 

The MDSCC will consider approval of this plan at its April 29th meeting.

Michigan Democratic Party Releases Delegate Selection Plan for 2024 National Convention

LANSING -- The Michigan Democratic Party announced today its Delegate Selection Plan for the 2024 Democratic National Convention along with a 30-day public comment period.

The plan formally describes the process of how the Michigan Democratic Party will select its delegates for the 2024 Democratic National Convention. During the 30-day comment period, the public can submit comments, questions, and concerns regarding the plan.

After the 30-day public comment period has completed, the Delegate Selection Plan will be submitted to the Michigan Democratic State Central Committee for final revisions and submission to the Democratic National Convention Committee for review and approval.

Michigan’s Democratic presidential primary will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
