4/8/2023 District Officers, District Committee Members and County Chairs: business on zoom. Choose Legacy Honorees and remind members to come to the Ice Cream Fundraiser on May 13th.
4/29/2023 Q1 State Central Committee in-person only (Zoom not available) at the Lansing Civic Center at 333 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48933 - 2:00pm on Saturday. Please see the email sent to all SCC members from MDP Christine Jensen. On April 29th, Mary Minnick and the 2nd CD State Central Committee met in Lansing at the Lansing Center Building on Michigan Ave. at 2:00pm-3:20pm to vote on several open V/P seats, treasurer's report and other committee responsibilities that were completed. The great news was that the 2nd CD was 100% in attendance and the Chair Lavora Barnes made a special announcement saying this to the committee. I also met with Rick Michaels and Hill Harper who were also in attendance and confirmed that Hill Harper will be at the Ice Cream Social to be a guest speaker.

10/01/2023: Team Building "Thank You" from the 2nd CD Party and Attorney General Dana Nessel: VIP at "The Cabin" restaurant and bar in Isabella County. Only VIP's were invited who included all our 20 Counties that make up the 2nd Congressional District. These VIP's included all the 2nd CD Chairs and others who have helped move our party forward this past year.

5. Prepare list of workers and alternates for February 12- 16 Texas Hold’Em.
FEBRUARY 1-3 Hold a Finance Committee meeting.
1. Select menu for dinner and set ticket prices.
2. Prepare a solicitation letter and set levels of sponsorships.
3. Set ticket packages such as the number of tickets at each level of sponsorship.
4. Set group ticket package prices such as a table of 8-9 saves $5.00 per ticket.
5. Prepare solicitation letter and sponsorship form and send it to printer.
6. Set date to mail sponsor’s form.
7. Set date for Sponsors to return to have their name on the dinner invitation.
8. Set date to send invitations to printer to be mailed to all party members.
FEBRUARY 10, DISTRICT PARTY MEETING
1. Prepare forms for auction items.
2. If a 50/50 is held bring tickets.
3. Request an Ice Cream Social be held following the May 11 Convention.
